As a teacher it is my goal to encourage students to satisfy recognize and satisfy their thirst for knowledge, cultivating their ability to problem solve and internalize mathematical ideas and concepts, diverting their urge toward rote responses.  To accomplish this, students must understand and communicate a broad range of symbolic elements that summarize definitions, postulates, and theorems.    As an artist I understand how mathematics interprets life, manifesting itself in the visual splendor we perceive around us, innately encouraging us to question.  It is this intuitive thought that embraces the abstract and drives the mathematician, the artist, the poet…; ultimately manifesting into an infinite continuum of rational and decisive outcomes, fueling our yearning to understand, problem solve and create.”
